Sitting above the 290 corridor in Dripping Springs, it offers some of the longest sightlines in the area, along with homesites that run larger than the typical master-planned community. The amenity center — pools, tennis, fitness, and trails — is genuinely well used, and Dripping Springs ISD schools anchor buyer demand. ## Not all view lots are permanent This is the single most important thing to understand in Highpointe. Some homes look out over land that will remain undeveloped; others look over lots that will eventually be built. Grading, drainage, and retaining requirements also vary sharply with elevation, and they affect both cost of ownership and long-term maintenance. The amenity center anchors the social side with a resort-style pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness room, and a clubhouse used for neighborhood events.
